After 8 years in the U.S. Navy and nearly 15 years as a professional IT specialist, I hit a wall. My family of six faced a serious financial crisis — I was unemployed, we left behind two homes in Washington State, and I took a significant pay cut to accept the only job I could find, all the way out in West Virginia. We expected the cost of living to balance things out...

It didn't.

So I did what most people do when they need extra income — I tried everything. Multi-level marketing companies, Amazon selling programs, affiliate marketing. I made a little money here and there, but something kept bothering me more than the slow results: the dishonesty baked into so much of the marketing world. Not always outright lies — but misdirection, hype, and promises designed to obscure the truth. I couldn't pour myself into work that felt that way.

Then I discovered local visibility marketing for service businesses — and something clicked.

Here was a space where I could do genuinely honest work. Help real business owners show up on Google. Help them earn the trust they already deserved. Help them get the phone calls their quality of work should have been generating all along. No tricks. No misdirection. Just straightforward strategy and execution.

It wasn't the easiest path at first. Honest marketing is a harder sell than big promises. But it caught on — and I wouldn't have it any other way.

That was over 10 years ago. Since then I've worked with pest control companies, restaurants, HR firms, cleaning services, pressure washing businesses, and dozens more. Every one of them a hard-working owner who just needed someone in their corner who actually tells the truth.
